UP constitutes new panel to probe recruitments

Tightening the noose around those allegedly involved in the police and Provincial Armed Constabulary recruitment scam during the previous Samajwadi Party regime, the Uttar Pradesh government on Thursday constituted a new committee to probe the allegations of corruption and pressure in the appointments. The new committee will also suggest the procedure to be adopted for making fresh recruitments in the Uttar Pradesh Police and the PAC.
